Been on a roll lately on the 2/4 tables. I hit silver vpp award level on Pokerstars as well. I don't anticipate hitting the gold level at the 2/4 level based on the hours I play. This is more of icing on the cake rather than any goals I have.
I've taken a shot or two at the 3/6 game but haven't started playing it regularly. I haven't officially set my 3/6 boundary level yet. For 2/4 my goal was $600 which is 150 * the BB. For 3/6 - 150 * BB (6) would be 900. This seems a little low to me. I'm thinking of setting my 3/6 boundary at $2000. Anyone have any recommendations/suggestions.
Holdem sng are basically he same. I play them now and then and am a slight loser in this category. I only play the $3 and under so I consider it an inexpensive education.

Take a shot
I've been doing something similar (I think - I haven't read your whole blog). I'm trying to take $10 to $10000 on Full Tilt, playing only Razz. So far, in less than two months I'm at $750, and never in danger of doing broke. My method is to move up a limit when I have 100BB, but ONLY risk 10BB (one standard buyin). If I lose that, I move back down. That limits my risk, assuming I have the discipline to actually quit. So far, so good. I also play down levels if the game is good - even at $750 I play a lot of $1/$2 because there are always games going with loose players.
Good luck to you!
Bankroll
If you're talking about razz cash games here (which I assume you are), you should have at least 200BB in your BR before moving up to any limit on a regular basis. If you're shorter than that, the risk is too great that you'll have a big downswing and be forced to drop down in limits again or risk going bust. On the other hand, if you think the higher games are soft enough to beat you can and should be taking shots at playing in them. I recommend setting aside 20% of your BR on any one "shot". If you lose that much, just play your normal limits to grind it all back. If you do well, you may bulk up your BR enough to make that your regular game.
Good luck!
